In the installation, the focus shifts from the visible to the invisible, from flesh to fluid. The relationship that characters have with their own bodies is shown from their subjective point of view. We will playfully explore where our body begins and ends. Creating an emotional connection using a first-persons perspective and build towards a disembodied experience. During the testing phase, its essential to establish the effectiveness of the narrative structure.
The participants experience of disconnection should not feel like a technical malfunction, but as an experience of Cotard Syndrome. Therefore, throughout the development period, in selected venues, participants can try out specific components of the installation. The feedback they provide is essential, because it allows to experiment with combinations of the elements to see how the experience works best.
